Rodent and Small Animal Control
The most common rodents encountered in King County are the Norway Rat, the Roof Rat,
the House Mouse and the Deer Mouse. These are often referred to as the commensal rodents
as they live in close proximity to us—in our homes and work places
There are a multitude of reasons for controlling rodents as much as possible including
property damage, disease vectoring, environmental contamination, psychological disturbance,
and good business practices.
Fortunately, long-term, non-toxic rodent control is available through thorough comprehensive
inspections, sealing access points (exclusion), and habitat modification. If you are dealing
with a rodent infestation, we recommend NOT using baits before the access points are sealed and the
structure is rodent secure. Otherwise, you may create additional problems with rodent bodies ending
up in hard-to-reach voids.
In addition to long-term, preventative control, we offer rodent maintenance programs that protect
you against rodent infestations using least-toxic category, organic certifiable program products.
